Who participates in Health Market Directions research?
- Health Market Directions releases a few hundred surveys a year to commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid health plans across the United States, as well as provider organizations in different areas of the health care industry. While payor surveys differ by topic, surveys typically include questions related to utilization management, coverage rules, and reimbursement trends, and how these policies might change over the next few years. Provider surveys vary by topic and focus.
What does Health Market Directions use the collected data for?
- Health Market Directions uses survey responses to gauge high level trends and the overall direction of a particular service industry.

How long does it take to complete a survey?
- Typical responses may range between 10-30 minutes. Respondents may begin a survey and complete it at a later date before the survey closes.
Why was I screened out of a survey?
- There are a couple of reasons one may get screened out of a survey, such as not being from the target state(s) we are interested in or not being familiar with the subject matter.
How did Health Market Directions get my contact information?
- Health Market Directions sources experts from publicly available data sources, including LinkedIn and Zoominfo.
How can I be removed from Health Market Directions' distribution lists?

Will my personal contact information ever be shared?
- No. Health Market Directions will never share the name(s) or contact information of any survey respondent.
How are my responses going to be used?
- After a survey closes, the data is aggregated and blinded to give an overall view point from the market.

Is there any compensation for taking your surveys?
- All respondents who have fully completed a survey will receive an honorarium based on the length and complexity of the survey, which will be disclosed in the email invitation. Additional honorariums are offered for participation in brief follow-up interviews.
When can I expect my honorarium?
- If you fully completed a survey, you can expect your honorarium in a few weeks after the survey closes. Because a typical survey remains open for 2-3 weeks, depending on when you respond, you may expect a honorarium within a 1-3 week time-frame.
How will I receive my honorarium?
- Any survey respondent who fully completes a survey will receive an email with a link to redeem the honorarium.
